My Summoner Wars (Hi)Story
Played 1st edition religiously, instantly fell in love the first time I played it. A friend and I would go deep into strategy discussions post-game, and would play out many branching variations of our matches. Didn't get into SW until later in its life, so by the time I started playing on the mobile app the competitive scene was already dying.
Favourite faction and favourite card
In 1st edition it was Sand Goblins for all their trickery. In 2nd edition I'm loving Fallen Kingdom for their explosive turns and for how well they can control the pace of a match.
What would I change about Summoner Wars
Let's get some good AI that can crush us all.
Games beside Summoner Wars
I haven't played many board games outside of Summoner Wars, used to enjoy a good game of chess, but SW immediately replaced it. My interests have always been more in video games. For competitive games I mainly grew up playing fighting games, and used to compete in tournaments for Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike and Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3.
