Hello! I'm Rosie, I very much enjoy games and love community- So what's better than joining a gaming community? :D

Back in 1e I asked for a two player game recommendation- I had a gift card from selling Magic the Gathering cards. I bought the first Master Set and fell in love with the game- So easy to pick up but so much strategy to dive into. I bought all 40 decks of 1e TWICE, one set I donated to a youth center and hosted informal tournaments there. The kids each would find their favorite faction and play each other, it was awesome. I didn't have many people to play 2e with (though I was super excited about it). I'm now rediscovering the online app and loving it- I love the community here!

In 1e I loved the first deck of The Phoenix Elves. I loved how you didn't have to rely on dice rolls- You were guaranteed damage and could strategize around that. I'm still feeling out what my favorite faction is now, but my favorite card is probably Willpower from the OD deck. It is nice to be able to reroll attacks!

I don't like that gates are called "gates". I would have called them portals or summoning stones (summoning monoliths?) or something like that. It bugs me that you place a lot of "gates" but don't actually have walls attached to the gate. Also you can't (usually) move through them.

I LOVE cooperative games, so some examples include Pandemic, Deep Rock Galactic and GTFO.
