I’m a single guy in my early 40’s who enjoys gaming (board/video), sports (mainly watching), and various other hobbies related to math/statistics including investing, poker, fantasy football, etc.

I found Summoner Wars 2E in August 2022 when looking for a new competitive two player game. I wasn't familiar with the first edition and didn’t start playing board/card games until 2016. I'm into research when it comes to everything in my life, and board games are no different. When I get hyped about a game, I almost always end up loving it. Summoner Wars has been no exception. Once I decided to play, I ordered all the physical decks within the first couple days of learning about the game. After playing the physical game for about a week, I knew I wanted more. The final straw was finding the Discord and the competitive scene. It's safe to say I'm completely hooked now :)
