My Summoner Wars (Hi)Story
I first played SW1 in undergrad but rediscovered it in a gap year between graduating with my bachelors and entering graduate school. I promptly bought all of SW1 only to find the competitive scene was diminishing. Thus, I was overjoyed to see the new version and digital play developed and now spend way too much time playing.

What would I change about Summoner Wars
I'm gonna cheat and say champ balance/costs.
Games beside Summoner Wars
Currently no other board games have occupied my time quite like SW2. I play others casually but not as frequently as SW2.
Stratego, especially licensed versions with special abilities (Narnia, Lord of the Rings) were my favorite board games growing up.
As a kid I was super into PC games like Age of Empires 1 and 2, Stronghold, Civilization 4, and the Total War series.
