I think I initially found SW through Dice Tower review. I immediately found it quite interesting. Then bought the board game, and later found the App. Spend 1-2 years just playing single player version on and off. I found the Podcast, TryHard Gaming online and eventually ventured into the Discord and online community. Been playing for 3+ months and love it.

The first real faction that clicked for me is Spectal Conclave. Absolutely love the tricks. They are movement heavy, good tricks to get around defenses and just a blast to play. But there are so many factions I like to play (But not as skilled yet) like: Breakers, Avians, High Elves, Drakesun, Eternal and more. Favourite card is tough, I would stick with SC and pick they events. All 4 :D The possibility of hiding behind a gate and Fade Away a costly common is fun, Ghost walking into position or splitting a illusory unit and then unleashing with 5 attacks is super cool.

At the moment being a faily new online player the other thing I really see is making sure the Fair Match option is matching better. I have played games with the highest ranking players out there and those haven't even been close.

Everdell, Flip7, 6 nimmt, Castles of Burgundy, Calico and more and more. I own 150+ Board games and enjoy anything from casual filler games, to worker placement and all in between.
