NavyProp on Discord. Long time board game fan. Started playing Avalon Hill wargames in the late 1970’s, early D&D player. Have been to GenCon 20x, and have trained my three daughters to love games as well. Played Prop for Navy from 1987-1989 then played in various Alumni and Joint Services sides, until forced to retire after the 2022 CanAm Games with the USMC Old Boys due to a goofy heart arythmia that led to a pacemaker. Still an avid bicyclist having logged nearly 70,000 miles over the past dozen years.

Heard about First Edition on a podcast shortly after it came out and became a fan, and maintained an ongoing match with my eldest daughter via the app for a few years. Got the 2E subscription but only came back to playing actively late summer of 2024.

I like a lot of factions - one of the things I like about SW is that it feels a bit like chess if different colors had different moves available to them. Like the Phoenix Elves a lot for the clarity, Vanguards for theme, Eternal Council for depth, and Wayfarers for a little crazy…

Nothing, really. I do support errata for balance, and am happy to pay a couple of bucks with each new release for new cards.
